Beautycounter Countermatch with Reflect Effect AHA Smoothing Facial Mask: AM Routine
If you follow me on Social (FB/Insta), you have likely already heard me raving about the new Beautycounter Reflect Effect AHA Smoothing Facial Mask. Many of you have tried it, love it, and have asked me, “Where does this fit into my Countermatch Routine?”
It’s an excellent question, and, as always, I have the answer! If you do your mask in the evening, see below for your Beautycounter Countermatch with Reflect Effect AHA Smoothing Facial Mask: AM Routine! This should be your morning routine on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
1. Cleanse
How to use: Work a dime-size amount of cleanser into the palm of your hand. Then, massage onto damp face and neck for 1 minute. Rinse.
2. Prep
*Let Toner dry thoroughly.
3. Treat

How to use: Gently, but quickly, spread a small dollop over clean, dry skin.
Set a timer for 10 minutes. Do not leave on longer than 10 minutes.
Wet hands and gently, without rubbing, remove the mask by continuing to rinse with water and lightly going over your face with your fingers in a circular motion.
Important: Please choose 2 mornings/evenings per week and use consistently. For example, I use my Reflect Effect Mask on Tuesdays/Thursdays and my Overnight Resurfacing Peel on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.

After your mask is removed, you will reapply your toner.

Pro Tip: Brush your teeth with a non-toxic toothpaste while the serum soaks into your skin. I also floss after I put on my 2nd treat step to give it a minute to soak in before my moisturizer

4. Protect

5. Sun Protection
I take a break, letting all of that soak in, and enjoy my breakfast. Before I start applying any makeup, I put on Countersun Daily Sheer Defense For Face – SPF 25. Wearing an SPF is essential even in the winter because it blocks blue light from computers and cell phones (which damages our skin) and sun (UV) exposure from windows and time outside.
As always, if you have any questions, please ask. If you have any Before/After results to share, I love to see those too!
